Decaf Coffee – Swiss Water & Sugar Cane, Roasted in Adelaide

Decaf, done properly. Our decaf coffees are roasted to order in Adelaide and chosen so you lose the caffeine, not the flavour — full-bodied, smooth, and good in milk or black.

How is decaf coffee made? Swiss Water vs Sugar Cane

Both are chemical-free, water-based methods. Swiss Water decaffeination uses only water, temperature and time to strip caffeine while protecting the bean's character — certified 99.9% caffeine-free. Sugar-cane (EA) decaf uses a natural ethyl acetate derived from sugar-cane fermentation, which tends to preserve sweetness and body. Both give a clean, flavour-forward cup without the harshness older solvent methods were known for.

Does decaf coffee taste good?

When it starts as specialty-grade green and is freshly roasted, yes. We treat decaf like any other single origin — sourced for cup quality and roasted to order — so it works as an everyday espresso, a milk coffee, or a late-afternoon filter, minus the caffeine.
